The ASO tool for Windows: App Store and Google Play on your PC
asorocket is a native Windows app for App Store Optimization. You do not need a Mac to work on an iOS app’s keywords: it reads App Store rankings in all 175 storefronts and Google Play rankings per country, researches keywords, follows competitors and checks and publishes listings to App Store Connect and Google Play Console, all from a PC, with the data kept on that PC.
Native builds for Windows
Windows 10 and 11, 64-bit. Free to start, no account, and a 14-day trial of everything on every new install.
Each address always serves the newest version. Every release and its notes: GitHub releases.
Installing on Windows
Download the installer, run it and open asorocket from the Start menu. The guided setup takes about two minutes: pick your App Store and Google Play storefronts, find your app, keep the competitors asorocket suggests and tick a few keywords. No account, no sign-in.
Everything an iOS developer does in asorocket works on Windows, including publishing to App Store Connect, because the app talks to Apple’s APIs with your own key rather than through Xcode or a Mac. Apple’s App Store Connect key is created in your browser and pasted into Settings.
Updates on Windows
Updates arrive in the background and install on restart, the same way on every system (how updates work). On Windows the update runs the same installer you started with, quietly and without the setup wizard, so an update never asks for a folder or a Start menu entry again. The download link on this page always serves the newest installer.
Where your data lives on Windows
Everything asorocket collects is one SQLite database in the app’s data folder under your user profile. Nothing is uploaded to asorocket. Settings opens the folder and saves a backup, and the database is an ordinary file for File History or any other backup you run.
API keys and webhook addresses are encrypted with DPAPI, Windows’ built-in data protection, so only your Windows account can read them. They are left out of backups and never synced between computers.
The system tray, startup and background work
The daily refresh runs while asorocket runs. Close the window and it can stay in the system tray, still refreshing, still sending alerts to Slack, Microsoft Teams, Discord or a webhook. Turn on Open at login in Settings › Data refresh and it starts quietly with Windows and makes scheduled client reports without opening a window.
Quit during a bulk research run and asorocket keeps working from the tray, then quits by itself when the run finishes. Like any desktop app, it collects nothing while the PC is asleep and catches up when it wakes.
What a desktop app does for ASO on Windows
Three things that matter on a PC: publish a checked App Store listing without a Mac, get what-changed alerts in Microsoft Teams or Slack from an app in the tray, and give Claude Desktop or Cursor on the same PC a set of ASO tools.
Publish to App Store Connect
Push a checked draft into the version you’re preparing, after a careful review screen.

How it worksQuestions about asorocket on Windows
Can I do App Store Optimization for an iOS app from Windows?
Yes. Rankings, research, competitors and the Metadata lab need no Mac, and with an App Store Connect key you can read your hidden keyword field and publish a checked draft from the PC. Only Xcode and submitting a build still need a Mac, and asorocket does neither.
Does asorocket run on Windows 10?
Yes, on 64-bit Windows 10 and Windows 11. There is one installer for both.
Which AI assistants work with it on Windows?
Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code and Windsurf, through asorocket’s MCP server with 29 tools. The assistant talks to the app over a local socket protected by a token only your Windows account can read.
Desktop ASO apps compared
The other ASO tools that run as a desktop app, Astro, ASO.dev and AppSprint, run only on macOS, so on Windows asorocket is the desktop option and the rest run in the browser. These comparisons show what each Mac app does differently; the comparison pages cover the web tools too, with prices from their own pricing pages.
