# What people actually search for, straight from Apple

Source: https://asorocket.app/features/top-search-terms

Apple publishes its most searched App Store terms through the Apple Ads API. asorocket downloads them every week for your storefronts and genres, with Apple’s popularity scores, and shows what climbed, fell, appeared and dropped out.

## What it does

### Official popularity

Apple’s own popularity scores, overall and within the genre, instead of a third-party estimate.

### Every week, every genre

Fifteen genres per storefront, weeks running Sunday to Saturday, with history back to October 2025.

### Movers at a glance

Climbers, fallers, new and dropped terms since last week, and an eight-week trend line per term.

### Next to your research

Apple’s score appears beside asorocket’s estimate in keyword research, bulk runs and the Metadata lab.

### Straight into your workflow

Research a term, track it for your app, add it to a bulk run, or export the week to CSV.

### Set up without a terminal

asorocket creates the key pair for you; you paste the public key into Apple Ads and the credentials back into the app.

## Good to know

### App Store only

Apple is the only store that publishes its top searches. Google offers nothing comparable, so Google Play keywords get asorocket’s estimate.

**Requires:** An Apple Ads account with an API user. Running campaigns should not be required, but confirm this with your own account.
