# About asorocket

Source: https://asorocket.app/about

asorocket is a desktop App Store Optimization app made by Gava Group AB, a company registered in Sweden with the number 559427-5207, at Ladugårdsgatan 6, 174 64 Sundbyberg, Sweden. It runs on macOS, Windows and Linux, keeps every ranking, review and draft in a database on the user’s own computer, and is sold as Pro and Studio subscriptions through Polar after a 14-day trial, with a Free plan that never expires.

## Why a desktop app

Most ASO tools are websites: your keywords, your App Store Connect figures and your API keys live in their cloud, and many meter keywords or apps. asorocket is built the other way round. The app on your computer reads the stores directly, stores everything in one local SQLite file, encrypts API keys with the operating system’s own secure storage, and sends them only to the service they belong to. There is no asorocket account and no asorocket server holding your data, which is also why a Pro licence has no keyword limit.

## Who builds it

Gava Group AB is the Swedish company behind asorocket: the app, this site, the guides and the comparisons. Questions, bug reports and licence requests go through the contact form and are answered by the people who build the app, usually within two working days. Releases are published on GitHub (https://github.com/Gabrielhanna07/asorocket-releases) with release notes for every version; the app updates itself from there.

## How facts are checked

- Facts about other ASO tools on the comparison pages come from those tools’ published pricing and product pages, checked October 2026 (2026-10-12); each page names its source and the date.
- Every guide carries a published date and an updated date (the newest: 2026-10-12). Guides describe how the stores work today and are revised when Apple or Google change something.
- Numbers about asorocket itself (storefronts, rank depth, limits, prices) are read from one content file, so the pricing page, the FAQ and the comparisons cannot disagree.
- Popularity and difficulty are labelled as estimates, because neither store publishes search volume; nothing on this site claims otherwise.
- There are no testimonials, ratings or reviews on this site, and its structured data carries none.
- This site’s facts were last checked on 2026-10-12.
